I have a i30N Performance and it's a great car. It isn't perfect but no car is. I don't think it's worth tuning it unless you are prepared to lose that amazing warranty.

well somehow you need to define the mods that everyknow can understand, like stage 1 only tune, stage 2 some hw added, stage 3 bigger turbo. So what's wrong with this and what is your better solution?

i30N is limited by its turbo and intercooler. I have it and its really patheticaly slow above 200. I saw some tuning video and intake temps are limiting engine power very very soon. Turbo will shits itself above 320 bhp so safe tune is 300-310.

Man teilt schließlich das selbe hobby :) ich muss auch zugeben dass das Fahrweg vom i30 n gegenüber dem gti/r megaa gut sein soll.beim kurven fahrten fährt mir der i 30n definitiv davon das weiß ich. 😅

@Kevinewton 350 starke Zeit💪 Naja ich denke der Hass kommt daher, dass der N ja gerne "Gti Gegner" genannt wird und die Community da natürlich gegen feuert. Beides Autos für sich...eine Jahrzente alte Community gegen nen Newcomer. Mich stört nur immer die Argumentation "der ist aber zu langsam". Als würde 0-100 das Wichtigste sein und dann der Durchzug ab 100, was mir persönlich wichtiger ist. Denke man kommt mit beiden gut auf der Autobahn klar. Kann aber fast schon mit Stolz sagen, dass bisher noch kein Gti Fahrer gegen den N ankam, bei ner Kurvenstrecke in meiner Nähe. Wohlbemerkt ne Fuchsjagd und kein Rennen. Demnach wie du sagst, jedem das Seine. Beide haben ihren Namen und das wohl mit Grund.

@Tim Euskirchen nein ich persöhnlich habe garnichts gegen den i30 n. Finde den echt nicht schlecht. habe bis jetzt nur die Erfahrung gemacht das die alle über die gti s herziehen 😑 nur habe so viele videos schon gesehen wo i30 ns ihre serienleistung garnicht hatten und dann so viel nach unten gestreut haben :/ und dann ne 16-17 zeit gefahren sind fand ich ein bisschen schade. und dann das der 6te gang hacken soll und bei einem hat sich bei 10000 k die Lenkradnähte gelöst ( was ich mir eigentlich nicht vorstellen konnte 🤷‍♂️) ich fahre in meinem gti auch stage 1 mit 320 ps und fahre auch ne 11er zeit. serie gemessen 260 ps 400nm nur 102 drin. leichte Felgen drauf und nur 1360 kg zu bewegen. Aber jeder soll das fahren was er mag ✌️😊

Eigentlich hör ich immer nur Gti/R Fahrer die über den I30N herziehen, weil er "zu langsam" ist, aber wer sich mit dem Konzept auseinander setzt, weiss das der Hyundai für Kurvenfahrten gemacht ist. Zudem sollen Automatikfahrer auch keine große Klappe haben, was leider meistens der Fall ist. Natürlich nur Geschmackssache, aber beim Probefahren fand ich den Gti klobig und nicht wirklich emotionsreichend. Der I30N mag vom Interieur nicht so unmreißen, ist dafür aber emotionsvoller und lässt mir mit meinem Budget alle Modifikationen offen. Die geplante steht aus, sodass ich von 100-200 ca 11,5 sekunden brauch, bei Stage 3 mit 380 ps

I always loved this car from the start, than drove one and was kinda dissapointed, not the traction and suspension but the performance, I have a car with simular hp but way less torque, about the same weight and it leaves this i30n no matter what situation, standing still, on the roll.....

@Alen Green vergleichen mit anderen Fahrzeugen will ich ihn gar nicht. Ich fahre den Wagen seit knappen 6 Monaten und bin immer noch jeden Tag begeistert. In der Woche zügig zur Arbeit und zurück, am Wochenende auf dem Nürburgring oder eine schnelle Fahrt über die Autobahn. Das Auto kann alles sehr souverän. Und wenn man ihn dann mit kleinen Anpassungen noch besser machen kann, warum nicht?

Small turbo problems. More boost on low rev give high torque peak (and more power) but on high revs boost is lower and max power is a little bigger.

Would you guys rather go for an i30 N with an 8 Speed DCT or a 6 Speed manual? For me, I’m going for a manual gearbox.

Depends what you use it for and your preference for either.The DCT version has slightly stronger performance through the gears and is slightly faster accelerating than the manual.Also the auto has a longer 8th gear for better economy.

1:45 them gear changes 😍😍😍 sounds like a little bubby version of an old school Sequential when it bangs in gear. So how much quicker is this than stock does the 25bhp make a whole lot of difference the torque is a lot more so I guess you would defo notice it...

@TuonoV4D'OR yes you are right, gear ratio’s are important. Its all about how the engine power is pit to the floor and at what rpm’s. Max power on my mk8 revo 2 is 5900ish but the gears are wuite short i think so always in the power curve. Revo 2 unlocks speed limiter also so i think wil do nearly 155
